My self portrait.

At the beginning of the year we made self portraits of our self. First we drew a picture of our self then we vivid over the lines and then we pestled inside the lines. Lastly we cut them out and stuck them onto a black piece of paper. Then we were done! I thought this was fun. Do you think I have got better at drawing over time?
This is the one I did at the start of the year.
This is the one I did at the end of the year.

My Halloween art.

For Halloween we made of creepy legs of our choice.
I made a background that has green for the main background and yellow on top of the green for sand and a swirl because I like swirls.
The legs that I made were snake legs. I thought that for my snake I should make a tail that is pointy then add a ball on the end then I just added a belly.
Do you celebrate Halloween?

My identity.

We were learning to make a flipgrid about our names.

I liked doing the flipgrid the most!
Have you ever heard of someone whose first, middle or last name is Olive?

Pygmy seahorse information report.

We have been learning how to take notes and then using our notes to write an information report.
I enjoyed writing the information report.
Do you like pygmy seahorse.
Pygmy seahorse.
5.11.2019
Pygmy seahorses are one of the smallest seahorse in the world. They are two centimetres long. That is even smaller than a paper clip!
Pygmy seahorses are found in a coral called a sea fan. You can get purple Pygmy seahorse and orange ones because you can get purple and orange sea fan. Once they are born in the sea fan then that is their home forever! Pygmy seahorses are very fragile and need to live in sea fan or they will die. Pygmy seahorses are masters of camouflage. Camouflage is very critical to the Pygmy seahorse’s survival.
When a Dad is pregnant his babies will pop out of a part of his tummy called a Brood pouch. When the babies are born they start out a dull brown colour. If there is an orange Dad but he gives birth to his babies on a purple sea fan then eventually they will turn purple to match the corals colour and then will grow calcified bumps called tubercles to match the corals texture. Then they will blend in with the sea fan to survive.
